Ferry to the Isle of Arran
If travelling by car, booking is highly advisable on the Ardrossan / Brodick route during summer,
Contact Cal – Mac on Tel : 08000 66 5000
Winter or Summer :
Take the Ardrossan – Brodick ferry, run by Caledonian MacBrayne. Turn right out of the harbour and drive through Brodick on the A841 coastal road with the sea on your right. Just over 1 mile from the harbour, bear left on to the B880 (know locally as “The String”). It is about 25 minutes across “The String” to get to Blackwaterfoot. Drive past the harbour / Kinloch and just after that take a left fork along Shore Road and you will find us.
Summer only :
Take the Claonaig – Lochranza car ferry Cal – Mac to the north of the Island, motor south down the A841 coastal road for 17 miles. Blackwaterfoot is about a 40 minute drive down the coast.
Parking
We have a very large car park at Shiskine Golf Club, although it can get very busy in July & August!
The Pro shop is adjacent to the car park and the 1st tee is right outside the Pro shop – so very handy indeed!
The general public can not use the parking up the top at the Clubhouse due to regulations caused by the narrow access road up. However disabled people may of course use it and there are disabled parking spaces up at our fantastic new Clubhouse.
